We are working to raise $2,500 in scholarship funds to send up to five students to intern for the Capital Internship Program in Washington, D.C. and Sacramento.
We are reaching out to our alumni, parents and community to make this transformational experience a reality for students that would otherwise not be able to take advantage of the opportunity due to financial hardship.
The Capital Internship Program provides an unparalleled opportunity for students to build a network, gain career experience and professional skills, and explore a new community of students from all UC system campuses – all working to advance the public good.
Our alumni have interned in the White House, Congress, for federal and state agencies, and at a wide variety of nonprofits and other organizations. When our alumni talk about their experience, they talk about how much they grew as an individual and about how their time in the program helped to shape their future careers.
We want all students regardless of their background to have the same opportunity to experience something transformational. Thank you for your support.
