Since Kababayan's founding in 1974, our community has thrived on campus with thousands of students supporting various Filipino organizations over the years. A highlight of the reunion is the opportunity to support deserving students through a newly established scholarship endowment.

Earlier this year, a generous Anteater donated $25,000 to establish the Filipino American Community Engagement Scholarship Endowment, the first endowment of this kind associated with the UC Irvine Alumni Association. This endowment supports undergraduate scholarships benefiting students dedicated to the Filipino American community.
