The UCI Basic Needs Center supports student’s financial stability by ensuring equitable access to basic needs through student empowerment, community collaboration and institutional integration. We understand that meeting the basic needs of our students greatly impacts their mental and physical health, academic performance, work productivity, and holistic success.
This is why we’re really excited to launch the Mobile Food Pantry! Through the mobile food pantry, we hope to make food resources more accessible to our students experiencing hunger or food insecurity so they can focus their efforts on their academic endeavors in pursuit of their degree. Our plan is to host mobile pantry distributions on a weekly basis on different locations on campus.
