We’re thrilled to acknowledge a $4,000 FRESH Hub donation from the Meghrouni family. Alexis Meghrouni-Rivas leads her family’s interest and involvement in the FRESH Basic Needs Hub. For years, the Meghrounis have been staunch supporters of UCI’s Armenian Studies program. But Alexis, her parents, siblings and extended family were genuinely moved when they learned about the power of this amazing program that serves hungry students campus-wide. We thank them, and we thank you. Your gifts, large and small, make a real difference to the very real lives of our students in need.

Just one week into our campaign to raise funds for UCI’s FRESH Needs Hub and we are thrilled to have reached our first $5,000 goal, unlocking a matching gift of $5,000 from a generous anonymous donor! Amazing accomplishment!

We are so grateful to all of you who have supported our cause. Your contributions allow the Hub to stock its pantry with the essentials our students need most. Your support makes a meaningful difference to students in need on campus—which has reverberating effects.

That said, we still have a ways to go to reach our $20,000 goal by the end of November.
