About UCI Reunions

Welcome Home Anteaters!

Round up your fellow Anteaters and return to campus this spring to relive UCI memories and create new ones. Reunion 2020, during Homecoming Weekend, will celebrate the classes of 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015.

Every year, Anteaters commemorate the past and contribute to the future by supporting their class gift. We hope you’ll take a moment to reflect on your time at UCI and consider supporting a fund on campus that directly impacts current students’ academic journeys.

Reunions FAQ

What is a Class Gift?

Celebrating a reunion is the perfect opportunity for our classes to commemorate the past and to ensure UCI’s brilliant future for generations to come.

While a gift to any fund on campus counts for your class gift, this year we are actively advocating for contributions to areas which directly impact student experience and accessibility to higher education.

When is Reunion?

Reunion weekend is during UCI Homecoming Weekend, February 28–29, 2020, and will celebrate the classes of 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015.

Why should I give?

Did you know that the revenue UCI receives from tuition and fees, combined with the support provided by the government, covers approximately 35% of the university’s funding needs? UCI relies heavily on donor support to help cover the remaining 65%. Donations from alumni and community members are essential for providing students and faculty with the updated classroom technology, well-equipped research facilities, and robust student support services. Funding from donors also significantly impacts the availability of scholarship resources.

By supporting your Reunion Class Gift, you pave the way for opportunities that will shape student success. Whether it’s $25, $100 or $2,500, every gift makes a difference.
