Our children need your help! The Child Development School (CDS) at the University of California, Irvine is a place where children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and related conditions can learn to achieve and experience academic success, while acquiring life skills that can be carried into adulthood -- skills that might even help them parent a new generation. It's also where parents are actively trained how to apply the best educational and behavioral practices in their homes, and where they find support and strength to face the unique challenges that come with parenting a child with ADD and related disorders.
Help us raise $25,000 to support this program if you heart CDS as much as we do! The Steinmann Family has generously pledged $5,000 to help us get started, and will give another $5,000 if we can get 50 gifts by UCI Giving Day, April 25!
Unfortunately, program costs are rising. Many of our most promising students are at risk of losing this opportunity to learn and thrive in this one-of-a-kind educational environment. You can help these children complete the program.
We are leaving no stone unturned in the search for solutions for the families who see their children making progress, but who are unable to pay total program costs. Your gift today will help us cover some or all of their expenses.
