Who We Are
Zotbotics is a competitive robotics club at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Our student organization strives to foster and nurture technical and leadership skills in club members through participation in various robotics competitions, primarily VEX U.
We are comprised of students of all majors, as we believe a hands-on experience with robotics should be accessible to anyone with an interest. Students in Zotbotics imagine, discuss, design, build, and test robots, and with your support, we can succeed as both a competitive force and an educational experience.
What is VEX U?
VEX U is a university level robotics competition where teams from around the world showcase their robots, built based on a new set of game rules each year, in autonomous and driver-controlled rounds. This year, the game consists of lifting caps onto poles, toggling flags with balls, and parking.
Team Budget and Costs:
This year, we plan on having two teams compete in VEX U, both representing UC Irvine. Our breakdown of projected expenses is featured below.
Why do we need your support?
