The Cirque du Soleil KÀ Symposium & Scholarships
We are thrilled to be partnering with Cirque du Soleil to create two amazing educational opportunities for the students of UC Irvine.
On Friday, November 16th, UC Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts will be hosting a one day educational symposium on the UC Irvine campus. This event will bring professionals from Cirque du Soleil to UC Irvine for a full day of lectures, seminars, and workshops. This program is aimed to create unique and innovative educational experiences that will inspire students as they cultivate and develop their future careers.
Your financial support will make this a free event for the UC Irvine community.
Also coming this December, we are bringing a group of UC Irvine students to Las Vegas for an incredible educational experience with Cirque du Soleil. Over three days, the students will be completely immersed in the world of Cirque du Soleil and participate in once in a lifetime experiences. The program will include backstage tours, discussions with professionals, and obervatoins of performances.
Your financial support will provide scholarship funds to the students attending who are in financial need.
Both of these opportunities aim to provide inspiration, professional development, and a hands-on education that will help to launch the participating students into a successful career within the entertainment industry.
We are grateful to our Cirque du Soleil partners who are donating their time and expertise for these programs. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to cover the logistical costs of these programs and provide these opportunities to our students.
