UCI Anteater Racing for Wraith
The UCI FSAE Internal Combustion Team is a competitive, research-based engineering project in which students design and manufacture a single seater formula-style race car for the Formula SAE Collegiate Design Series in Lincoln, Nebraska. Ranking in the competition is based on the total points received from specific metrics in design, cost, sales reports/presentations, and five dynamic racing events: endurance, efficiency, autocross, acceleration, and skidpad. Last year’s car, codenamed Phantom, was by far the most competitive car the team has ever produced. It featured many firsts for the team, including a high-downforce aero package, a custom exhaust, and custom engine tuning. This year’s car will continue to make significant improvements in hopes of achieving the team’s first-ever top ten finish at competition!
