The UCI Rocket Project is an undergraduate, student-led team pushing the boundaries of collegiate rocketry through the design and fabrication of liquid fueled rockets.
Our goal is to become the first university team to launch a liquid fueled rocket into space. We are currently manufacturing our Preliminary Test Rocket (P.T.R.) to reach approximately 45,000 ft. We will use the experience and knowledge gained to scale up our system. We are seeking to raise $1,000 to buy customized polo shirts for the team as well as lab coats and safety glasses for future tests.
With the customized polo shirts, we are hoping to look more presentable and represent our school when going to events, symposiums, and launches. We think that the polo shirts are important for each member to feel like they are a key part of a our project.
