UCI CEE Undergraduates Scholarship

We are the UCI Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Affiliates, a volunteer organization of practicing professional engineers experienced in the business of civil and environmental engineering and delivering excellent projects and services to improve and sustain a high quality of life for residents of the Southern California community.  Our mission is to provide effective industry based guidance and support to the CEE Department, students, faculty and programs at UCI; acting as  partners and advisors to broaden and enhance the quality of the student experience, communicate knowledge of current industry practices, assist in program content and experiential learning to develop the highest quality engineers and leaders prepared for the demands of today’s technology and society and ready to meet the challenges of a changing world.

The CEE Affiliates currently sponsors several annual undergraduate scholarships for CEE Students, including the Jan Scherfig Scholarship for Freshman, Gary Guymon Scholarship for Sophomores, and Robin Shepard Scholarship for Juniors. Each of these scholarships annually has a single award of $1,000, for a total of $3,000 in annual scholarships directly funded by the CEE Affiliates.

Our goal is to double the amount of scholarship awards for the 2021-22 academic year to a total of six (6) awards of $1,000.

Increasing annual CEE scholarship awards will help to support the education of UCI’s brightest future civil and environmental engineers. Thank you very much for your support!
