THE COUP IS BACK IN 2021!

Improv Revolution launches the Coup de Comedy 2021, an online worldwide comedy revolution with the Global Improvisation Initiative Symposium 2021!

Hello! We are Improv Revolution and we are here to bring you an amazing comedy festival for FREE!

This year will be our biggest festival yet with the most talented artists in the world!

What We Need & What You Get 

We're asking for $5,000 for the biggest Coup yet in order to fund:

• Production costs of presenting a professional-grade festival and symposium online.
• Advertising and promotion - we want as many people as possible to benefit from the Coup.
• Bringing the talents of renowned and diverse teachers and comedians to this event free for the attendees.

The Coup de Comedy is the pride of Improv Revolution, and we're working hard to build our comedy community at UCI, in Orange County, the greater community, and now the world. Offering a quality festival for free is of utmost importance to us because we believe the joy of comedy should be accessible by all!

Who Are We?

Improv Revolution (or iRev) is a 10-year-old undergraduate improvisational ensemble at UC Irvine that performs long form and short form improv on campus and local festivals. We have led weekly workshops for individuals interested in improvisation for free. We are involved in community outreach with local schools and perform with other community teams and college groups. During the pandemic, we have continue to present shows on Twitch and online workshops.
