We are so grateful for the support provided for our Passport to Study Abroad- Open Doors to the World Zotfunder campaign. We are happy to announce that we raised a total of $1,175! This will allow us to provide up to 9 passport grants for students who need to apply for a new passport or a renewal.
As you may have heard, the US Department of State increased all passport application fees by $20 in late December, so it is more important than ever to provide this additional support to future study abroad participants.
We hope to award these grants for students studying abroad in this next cycle, and we will keep you updated!
Thanks again for your continued support of our UCI students and these new initiatives that will help make studying abroad more accessible and affordable.
Zot Zot!
UCI Study Abroad Center
The UCI Study Abroad Center is raising funds for passport grants to help anteaters go abroad through the Passport to Study Abroad - Open Doors to the World Zotfunder.
Students incur costs, like new passport application fees, before financial aid is disbursed. With over 75% of UCI students receiving some form of financial assistance, we know students need help covering pre-departure expenses.
Make a gift by December 19 to provide 15 students with $145 passport grants. Every gift, small and large, will help make study abroad more accessible to all UCI students.
