Our Crowdfunding Groups
CAUCI stands for Chinese Association at the University of California, Irvine. We are grateful for your interest in supporting our annual 31st Culture Night. "Beyond the Palace Walls" is a story that centers around a girl in the ancient Three Kingdoms who learns the value of family, friends, life, and love. We tell our story through our actors, our traditional Chinese dancers, our invited team of martial artists, and more. We're a non-profit cultural club on campus that is entirely student-run, even our Culture Night.
This is Our Story:
We gather actors and those who love the stage in our organization to bring to life our story of love, betrayal and family.
Completely student-run, we gather dancers of all levels and skill sets who take time out of their busy schedules to bring together an old tradition in the Chinese culture, dance. Previously used as entertainment in the Imperial Court, we're now using it to portray our story, "Beyond the Palace Walls".
Formed in 1994, CADC has since become a prominent name within Southern California's hip hop dance scene. CADC is strictly a collegiate team, with all members currently enrolled as UCI students. CADC stresses on having fun through competitive and exhibitive hip hop dancing.
