Ambitious New Goal - $20,000!
Hi friends and family! Thank you all for your support thus far. We are so excited with the progress that you guys have helped us to achieve!
That being said, if we reach our goal of $15,000 that only covers half of our budget. Between the ultrasound teachings, the cervical cancer screen and treat (which we have expanded and are doing for a full week, as opposed to two days in previous years), and our extensive and incredible ophthalmology screening and research project, our budget has is higher than previous years!
Furthermore, we got the incredible Dr. Tewari, a renowned gynecologic oncologist, to join our trip and help us screen and treat as many women in Mwanza as possible for cervical cancer. For this reason, the amount of clinical help we can provide to this community has increased greatly. While we are so excited that we have so much more to offer the people of Mwanza, with this expansion of our projects it definitely requires much more funding than we currently have. Please help support our team in these incredible and meaningful projects!
